Lithuania to Poland

Our next stop was Augustów, historically a royal city of Poland, now better known as a popular resport town. This Church of the Sacred Heart was built in the early 1900s replacing an earlier church of St Bartholomew. In 2001 it was elevated to the rank of a Minor Basilica.
